II Creeks Community News 7-25-13

Here’s what is going on in our community this week!

Stage 3 Water Restrictions

Despite the rain we have received, Richardson is still under a Stage 3 water restriction. Lake Levon is still more than eight feet below normal, so this restriction should stay in effect for the foreseeable future. More information on when your designated watering day is can be found here.

Free Outdoor Movies at Alamo Drafthouse

The Alamo Drafthouse is holding free outdoor screenings in anticipation of their grand opening. Tonight they’re showing a double feature of “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz.” The stars of the films, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will also be on hand to help introduce the screenings. The free screenings conclude this Saturday with “The Goonies.” The gates open at 6:30 and everyone is encouraged to bring their own chairs. Alamo Drafthouse is located in the Heights Shopping Center at Belt Line and Central Expressway.
