Here is what’s happening in our community this week.
- The Richardson Economic Development Partnership is the first DFW entity accredited by the International Economic Development Council. Richardson is only the second city in the country to be awarded such an honor. The International Economic Development Council is the largest membership association serving economic and community development professionals in the world. With over 4,600 members nationwide and abroad, IEDC offers the economic development profession one source for information and professional development, one voice for the profession and one force for advocacy.
- Texas rockabilly pioneers The Reverend Horton Heat were just announced to the Wildflower Arts and Music Festival lineup. They join a lineup that already includes, The Toadies, Robert Earl Keen and Uncle Kracker. The Wildflower Fest is happening May 17-19 in Richardson.
